Van LohuizenPhotographic Collection - chiefly Indian & South-East Asian art
This was the first photographic collection acquired by the Trust, andincludes a large body of slides (c. 1500), photographs, transparencies and welldocumented negatives (c. 7000), chiefly of art historical interest. Prior to heruntimely death, she was planning to undertake the considerable work required toidentify, sort, organize and list her rich collections. Happily one of herformer graduate students, Dr. Oleg Starza-Majewski, has, when his familycircumstances had permitted, made a valiant start on these not inconsiderabletasks. But, until this work is further advanced, the collection can not bedescribed as readily available for users or research purposes.
